You don't have to be good to be healthy

I worked on an amazing job back in October. I shot the new stills campaign for The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. (CBCF) I worked alongside an amazing group of people from the CBCF and Idea Studio . A new advertising agency made up of some super smart and creative pros. We went out to British Columbia to shoot alongside the TV spot, which looks AMAZING. Myself and my trusty assistant Thomas Dagg spent over a week in this beautiful province. We spent the first portion shooting in Vancouver and then we shipped out to Tofino. I shot a bunch of creative surf stuff that you can enjoy below. We spent Halloween in B.C and we were even there for the 7.7 magnitude earthquake. The shoot got pushed because of tsunami warnings. Powerful stuff. This job will always resonate with me, but not for those reasons. Sometimes a job just comes together in the right way, especially when everyone is there to make art for a good cause. Cancer has touched us all in one way or another and our crew was driven by this powerful force the whole way. Please have a look at what the imaginations over at Idea Studio and the will of the CBCF have come up with. Remember, you don't have to be good to be healthy. Let's fight cancer any way we can.

F*#@ Cancer.
